The Rutland Fireplace Mortar, Buff provides a premium item for your hearth products. As Rutland's original fireplace mortar mix, this product has been time-tested to ensure great results for your application. When cured, this mortar becomes as hard as fire brick and just as strong, too. Featuring colors to match most original mortar colors, this mix makes a great option to patch fireplace boxes, bond fire bricks together, or to re-point fireplace brick within a firebox. This product has been rated for 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, requires heat to cure, and can be painted once heat cured.
