The Rutland Castable Refractory Cement, 25 LB Tub provides a premium item for your hearth products. This dry cement mix meets sets and dries as hard as fire brick to meet the needs of a wide variety of installations. Use castable refractory cement to create custom shapes, replace worn existing fire bricks, fill holes in a masonry firebox, or use as a solid stone bed for a fireplace. This dynamic product can also be used to build or repair outdoor fire pits. Castable refractory cement has been rated for 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit and does not require heat to cure. After a minimum of 24 hours drying time, this product may be painted.
