The Hearth & Home Technologies Replacement Thermocouple (812-0210) is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement part that is compatible with a variety of Quadra-Fire pellet stoves and inserts. The thermocouple is a critical safety device that monitors the fire after start-up. Once the fire reaches a certain temperature, the thermocouple sends a signal to the stove to continue feeding fuel, allowing the stove to operate in normal mode. If your stove is not staying lit, or if it is shutting down prematurely, a faulty thermocouple may be the cause. This is a 3-inch thermocouple, so this part is not compatible with older Quadra-Fire stoves that use a 4-inch thermocouple.
