The Hearth & Home Technologies Replacement 14-Inch Thermocouple (812-4470) is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement part that is compatible with a variety of Quadra-Fire and Heatilator Eco-Choice hearth products. The thermocouple is a critical safety device that monitors the fire after start-up. Once the fire reaches a certain temperature, the thermocouple sends a signal to the stove to continue feeding fuel, allowing the stove to operate in normal mode. If your stove is not staying lit, or if it is shutting down prematurely, a faulty thermocouple may be the cause.
