The superior construction and design ensure a long lasting and quality product while the unique 3V spark to pilot system removes the need for a standing pilot light and lights automatically when the unit is turned on. The valve itself is rated for 175°F for up to 82,000 BTU with a 24-inch pilot assembly and is intended for use with natural gas.     "I'm very satisfied with this product. Changing it over to propane from natural gas was fairly straightforward, other than the screws being torqued down way to tight on the old valve -- took some doing to get them loose. It comes with all of the electrical and gas components you need for about any setup and connection. The directions are fairly clear and easy to follow as well. Attaching the pilot/ignitor assembly to the pan was a little tricky. The bracket they provide is not the same as the one in the picture, and it took some creativity to make it work. At the end of the day, new gas fireplace for my old mom fires right up with a touch of a button (I added a remote as well). She loves it."
