The Rutland Dry Mix 211 Refractory Mortar, 10 LB Tub provides a premium item for your hearth products. This dry cement mix meets or exceeds all requirements of the National Fire Protection Agency and (NFPA) 211 and NYSCMA Tek Spec. To use, just add water to join or repair masonry flue tile or as a parge coating for the construction of fireboxes and masonry flue liners. This mix offers acid resistance, can be painted once dry, and does not require heat to cure. One 10-pound tub provides enough mix for 1,268 square inches at 1/8-inch thickness or approximately 50 clay tiles. This product has been rated for 2,550 degrees Fahrenheit and offers suitable specifications for most modern gasification technology units.
