DuraVent DT-IWT DuraTech Insulated Wall Thimble

The DuraVent DT-IWT DuraTech Insulated Wall Thimble provides a premium product for use with the DuraTech chimney system. The wall thimble adjusts from a minimum of 5.5-inches to a maximum of 9.5-inches wall thickness and fits between standard wall studs. To accommodate thicker walls, the telescoping pieces can be extended up to 16-inches with a field-fabricated extension installed. The wall thimble must be installed with DuraTech chimney pipe horizontally through the wall and extend 6-inches into the room beyond the interior wall. The interior trim ring is painted black.

DuraTech is a double-wall chimney system for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood. DuraTech is designed for normal, continuous operation at 1,000 degree flue gas temps. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer's specified guidelines as noted in your appliance's installation manual.
